Location-Sharing Service EchoEcho Raises another $750k

EchoEcho is one of the easy to use location-sensing Apps on the Market. While Apps, such as Foursquare, focus on checkins and local sights or deals, EchoEcho is specialized on the location-query of friends and to organize local greets and meets. As a privacy feature EchoEcho immediately shares your location with all the people you are trying to locate. You can download EchoEcho for all the major smartphone platforms, including iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, Symbian and Windows Phone.

According to TechCrunch, EchoEcho was able to raise $750K from Google Ventures, UK-based venture firm PROfounders and Don Dodge in September 2011. As EchoEcho told TechCrunch, they were able to raise another $750K from Bullpen Capital with participation by PROfounders Capital. EchoEcho plans to use this new funding to grow its team and focus on user acquisition.
